This medal series succeeded the Nordic Art Medal series, and the scope was now limited to Denmark, the Faroe Islands and Greenland - the Danish domains. This time, artists from outside the Nordic countries were used, specifically from Italy, Malta and France.

 

The medals were only issued in bronze, and were 70 mm in diameter and each weighed between 250 and 280 grams, with certain variations. The series is very exclusive, as it was only published in 1200 copies.

 

In 1983, all medal production at Anders Nyborg AS ceased.
